Medical and gynaecological checkups

SWICA contributes towards the cost of some checkups which help identify illness at an early stage and which do not constitute statutory benefits. Under a Praevita plan, SWICA covers 90% of the cost, up to 500 francs within three calendar years. Under an Optima plan, it covers 90% of the costs exceeding this amount per year.

Medically recommended travel-related and other vaccinations

SWICA contributes towards the cost of travel-related and other vaccinations which aren't included under mandatory insurance cover. Under a Praevita plan, SWICA covers 90% of the cost, at maximum of 200 francs per calendar year. Under an Optima plan, it covers 90% of the costs exceeding this amount per year.

Which precautionary check-ups make best sense?

With the Benecura app from SWICA you can quickly and easily find out which precautionary check-ups make best sense for you based on your medical history, age, gender and risk factors. You can send the PreventionCheck result from the app as an encrypted email directly to your family doctor, or to the santé24 telemedicine service if there are questions, and then discuss it during your appointment. The Benecura app is free for all SWICA customers.
